Zoup Food Maps is located over in Motilal Nagar, Goregaon West. Our address is 218/1744, which is one of those spots that can be a bit tricky for people to find the first time they visit. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for a while now. It’s a crowded neighborhood with lots of small lanes, but it has a lot of character and life. We don't actually cook food here at our office. Instead, we spend our time working on how people find food spots around the city using maps and data. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens, hence the name we chose. We have a small office setup where a few of us sit with our laptops and talk about logistics. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby or a security desk. It’s just a room where we try to figure out the best routes and locations for food delivery. Sometimes we go out and walk the streets ourselves to verify things because the digital maps aren't always accurate for these small lanes. Motilal Nagar is a noisy place with kids playing outside and vehicles honking, but we like the energy of the area. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we just want to make it a bit easier to find a decent meal when you are hungry. Our team is small and most of us live nearby. We usually just grab tea from the local stall when we need a break. It’s a simple operation based on legwork and local knowledge. We don't have big meetings.
