Wens Fashion Llp is right across from the Jogeshwari railway station on S.V. Road. We are based in Abba Residency CHSL, specifically in office B/205. Being so close to the station means it’s always crowded and noisy outside, but it’s very convenient for getting around Mumbai. We’ve been operating from here for some time. We do a lot of fashion-related work, which mostly involves looking at fabrics and talking to tailors. The office is often full of bundles of clothes waiting to be moved. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, especially when we are busy, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily grind and making sure the orders are correct. The building itself is quite old and the stairs can be a bit of a workout. We spend our time checking seams and making sure the colors are right. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and the local food stalls nearby are a lifesaver then. It’s a very grounded, local way of working. We aren't interested in being some high-end luxury brand. We just want to make decent clothes that people can actually wear. It's a simple business run by people who know the area well. We just keep our heads down and do the work every single day.
