We Help Welfare Foundation

You can find us at Om Siddhi Apartment, specifically in flat A-103. This is over in Sector-8 of Charkop, which is part of Kandivali West. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty grounded. We Help Welfare Foundation started because we saw things in our own neighborhood that needed attention. We aren't some big international group; we are just local people working from a flat. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and supplies, but it serves its purpose. Charkop has a certain feel to it, and being here helps us stay connected to the real issues people face every day. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if you knock, one of us will just step away from whatever we are doing to say hello. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Sometimes the plumbing in the building acts up, or the lift is slow, but we make do. We spend a lot of time just listening to people who drop by. Kandivali West is a busy place, but our little corner in Sector-8 stays relatively calm. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s just us doing what we can with what we have. No big slogans, just the daily routine of helping out where it’s needed. We are glad to be part of the community here and plan to stay for as long as we are needed.
