Wadhwa Dreamscapes Private Limited is on the third floor of the Platina building. We are in Plot C-59, G Block, which is right in the heart of the Bandra Kurla Complex. BKC is a very busy part of Mumbai, full of big glass buildings and people in suits, but our office feels a bit more grounded than that. It’s a standard office space with desks and computers, but we’ve managed to clutter it up with our own things over time. The walk from the bus stop or the station can be quite long in the sun, so we’re usually a bit tired by the time we reach the third floor. The office has a view of other buildings, which isn't very exciting, but it’s interesting to see the city constantly moving around us. We have a small area where we keep the printer and the water dispenser, and that’s where most of the office conversation happens. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even in the middle of summer. We deal with a lot of numbers and plans all day long. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, interrupted by the occasional meeting in the small room we use for guests. We don't have any flashy mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and the usual office supplies. It’s a practical place for us to get through our daily tasks and then head home through the BKC traffic.
