Vidyucha Foods Private Limited

We are way up on the fourteenth floor, specifically 1403, in The Nellai Chs Ltd. Our office overlooks Swastik Park and the central S. Road here in Chembur. It’s a long way up from the street level, but the lift usually works well enough. Vidyucha Foods Private Limited is basically just a few of us sitting in this room with our computers and some ledgers. You can see the traffic moving slowly down on the road below throughout the day. Chembur is always moving, and we are just one small part of it. The wind gets quite strong this high up, so we have to be careful with the papers on the desks if the windows are open. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass partitions, just the basic furniture we bought when we started. The morning starts with clearing out the emails and seeing what the food market is doing. We talk to vendors and handle the logistics of moving stock from one place to another. It is not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps us occupied. By the time evening rolls around, the lights of the city start coming on, and it’s time to lock up. We make sure the registers are balanced and the lights are off. It’s a simple routine that we follow every day without much fuss or drama. It is a busy life up here in the building.
