About Vfu Human Rights Council – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Mumbai Suburban
Our office for Vfu Human Rights Council is in Malad East, specifically in the Kurar Village area. We are in the Babel Malad CHS building on Plot No 26. It's mostly a residential neighborhood, so it's fairly quiet. We are up on the third floor in room 302. We spend a lot of our time talking to people and looking through various documents. Being a human rights council means we get all sorts of visitors and phone calls throughout the day. We try to listen to everyone, even when we're really busy with paperwork. The office is pretty basic with just some wooden tables, plastic chairs, and a few old computers. We're not trying to look like a fancy law firm or anything like that. We just want a simple place where we can work and meet people who might need us. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up or gets stuck, so we just take the stairs instead. It's just part of being in an older society building in Mumbai. We've been here for a bit and the local residents know what we do. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We prefer just doing the work and letting people find us through others. It's a small operation, but we stay very busy. Kurar Village has its own rhythm, and we've become a part of that daily life. We just keep our doors open and see who comes by with a problem or a question that needs answering.
