VEA IMPEX (I) PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office for VEA Impex (I) Private Limited is on the second floor of Shivplaza which is right by the railway crossing road in Kandivali West. If you know Mumbai then you know how loud and crowded it gets near any railway crossing. The trains go by all day and you can hear the whistle every few minutes while we are working. We are in Room 210 and it is usually a hive of activity. Since we do import and export there are always boxes being moved around and people coming in with delivery notes. It is a bit chaotic sometimes because space is tight in Mumbai but we make it work. We handle a lot of different goods and the paperwork for customs and shipping can be a real headache if you do not stay on top of it. We are not some big international firm with a glass lobby. We are just a group of people in a small office trying to move products from one place to another. Most of the time we are eating lunch at our desks while checking emails from people in different time zones. The walk from the station is short which is good for the staff but the monsoon season makes that short walk a bit of a struggle with all the puddles. We just keep moving forward and try to stay organized amidst all the city noise.
