Vaanara Tea (Opc) Private Limited

Our spot is over in Versova, right near Yari Road. We’re in the Parijat building, unit B-001, which is pretty close to God Gift Tower. It’s a nice area, being so close to the water, and the air feels a bit different here than in the rest of Mumbai. Vaanara Tea is a small operation. Since it's an OPC, it's mostly one person's vision, but there are a few of us who help out with the day-to-day stuff. We spend a lot of time tasting different teas and figuring out which ones we like. The office is a bit cluttered with tins and boxes of samples from all over. We don't have a big storefront with a neon sign. It’s more of a quiet place where we get the work done. Sometimes we take a break and walk down towards the beach just to clear our heads. Running a tea business is a lot of waiting for shipments and then a mad rush to pack everything up before the day ends. We don’t use any of those big marketing slogans or talk about missions. We just like tea and want to sell it. The neighbors in the building are nice, and we try not to make too much noise when we're moving heavy crates around. It’s a simple setup, and we’re just happy to be working in such a great part of the city. We hope the tea we pick is good enough for people.
