Uttung Bharari Foundation

We are located on the ground floor of Sudhir Apartment, in unit 101. That is on S. N. Road in Mulund. It is a fairly nice and quiet residential area compared to many other parts of Mumbai, but S. N. Road still stays busy with people going to work. The Uttung Bharari Foundation started right here in this apartment building. Being on the ground floor is very handy because people do not have to climb any stairs to find us. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a security guard at a desk. It feels more like a home that someone turned into an office, which is basically what happened. We have some old wooden furniture and stacks of papers that never seem to go away. Most of our day is spent right here, working on various things. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy events or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks we have in front of us. Sometimes the neighbors from upstairs pop in just to say hello or ask a question. We have been part of the Mulund community for quite some time now. It is a simple life here in the office. Everyone knows everyone else’s name. The foundation keeps us busy, but we don’t let it get too stressful. We just take things one day at a time and do what we can from this small ground-floor flat.
