Being in Andheri means there is always something going on outside the windows. It’s a lively part of Mumbai, and we’ve been stationed here for a while. The office isn't anything too special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet up to discuss what needs doing next. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of tea gets drank throughout the day. Getting to the seventh floor takes a bit of time when the lift is busy, which happens more often than not. We prefer keeping things simple around here. There is usually a pile of papers on someone’s desk and a map of some site pinned to the wall. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations because we are usually busy with the actual work of building and planning. The neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses, so it feels like a nice little community on our floor. It’s easy to grab a snack nearby if the day goes long. We just show up every day, do the tasks on our list, and try to keep things moving forward without making too much of a fuss.
