United Ngos Chambers For Social

We are based up on the 6th floor of Park Avenue in Kandivli West. The building is right there on MG Road in Dahanukar Wadi, so it gets pretty busy around here. Being in B 601 means we have a bit of a view, but mostly we are looking at the other buildings. United Ngos Chambers For Social is a place where different groups come together. It is not a shiny corporate office. We have some old desks and the air conditioning is a bit loud sometimes. People from various NGOs drop by all day to discuss their social projects. It’s a lot of coordination and paperwork. Mumbai is always noisy, and you can hear the traffic from the street even this high up. We have a small corner for making tea and coffee, which gets used a lot. There are files stacked in the corners because we never seem to have enough shelf space. The staff here is small, and we all know each other well. We don't wear suits or anything like that. It’s just regular clothes for a regular day of work. Finding the place is easy since Park Avenue is a well-known building in Mumbai City. We try to keep things organized, but when three different meetings are happening at once, it gets a bit crowded. It is a working space for people who are doing social work in the city.
