We have a space on the ground floor of Bungalow 9, which is part of Brighton Tower in Lokhandwala Complex. If you know Andheri West, you know the 2nd Cross Lane is a pretty well-known spot. It is a bit of a maze back here, but we like the privacy it gives us. The office is on the ground floor, so we do not have to deal with elevators, which is a big plus. It is a comfortable enough place. We have filled it with desks and some old furniture we have picked up over the years. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. There is usually some music playing and plenty of snacks lying around. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes even more than we do at home. We are just a small group of people who enjoy what we do. There is no big hierarchy; we just all pitch in. Sometimes the office is a mess of wires and papers, but we know where everything is. We do not really go for the whole professional image thing. We would rather just focus on the projects. Being in Lokhandwala means there is always somewhere to grab a quick bite or a coffee when we need a break. It is a good neighborhood for creative work. We have been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. We are just part of the furniture now, doing our thing day in and day out.
