Tru Native F&B Private Limited

We’re up on the 7th floor of the JMS Business Centre, right across from Anupa K Public School in Behram Baug. Jogeshwari West is a busy place, and being up here gives us a bit of a view, though mostly we’re just looking at other buildings and the traffic below. We started Tru Native F&B because we wanted to do something with food and drinks that felt real. Our office, room 702, is pretty functional. There are desks, some sample products lying around, and always a few laptops running. It’s not one of those cool startup offices with bean bags or fancy coffee machines. We’re usually too busy for that. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out shipping logistics. Mumbai traffic is always a headache for our deliveries, so we spend a lot of time worrying about that. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up waiting around a lot when we are in a hurry. We’re just a small team of people who show up every morning and try to get things done. We don't have a big PR team to write fancy stories about us. We just make our products and hope they get to where they’re going on time. It’s a lot of trial and error, really. We’re just learning as we go and trying to stay afloat in this big city while doing something we like.
