We are based on the 5th floor of B-Wing in Shrikant Chambers, which is right on the Sion Trombay Road. Most people know the area because of R. K. Studio being nearby. Mumbai traffic is no joke, so being on this main road helps us stay connected to the rest of the city, even if the noise never really stops. Our office is a busy place where we handle all sorts of renovation work. There are usually drawings spread out over the tables and samples of tiles or wood lying around. It’s not a showroom; it’s a workspace where the actual planning happens. We have a small team and everyone knows their role. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. If something needs to be done, someone just does it. The 5th-floor view is mostly other buildings and the constant stream of cars below. We spend a lot of time traveling to different sites across Mumbai, but this is where we come back to sync up. It’s a practical office with a lot of light and plenty of files. We try to keep things moving as fast as the city does. Sometimes we stay late when a project is finishing up, and the office feels quite different once the street noise dies down a bit. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything we touch is handled properly without making a big deal out of it.
