Texmantra Llp

Texmantra Llp is based over in Vidyavihar West, in a place called Kirol Village. Our office is unit 402, on the fourth floor of the A Wing in Neelkanth Business Park. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, especially with how the Mumbai traffic gets during the rush hour, but once you’re inside the business park, it’s a lot quieter than the street. We deal with the technical side of textiles, mostly coordination and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. The building is one of those modern glass ones, which is a big change from the older places we used to be in. We have a small group here, just regular people who’ve been in this industry for years. There isn’t much corporate talk in our office; we usually just sit around with a cup of tea and look at the day's tasks on our desks. The area around the station is always packed with people moving around, but our floor stays pretty calm for the most part. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to different vendors and checking on the status of various shipments. It’s a lot of routine stuff, really. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a room with desks and a lot of papers scattered about. We try to keep things simple and just handle whatever comes our way during the day. It’s a steady job and we like the rhythm of it.
