Tesha Restaurants Llp is located in Goregaon West, specifically in the Rustomjee Ozone complex. We are way up on the 19th floor of Tower 4, which gives us a pretty good view of the city, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. Working in the food business in Mumbai is always a bit chaotic. There is always someone running late because of the local train or the rain, and there is always a list of things that need to be ordered for the kitchen. We spend a lot of our time in the office part of the Singh Complex handling the paperwork and the logistics that come with running a restaurant group. It is a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking on staff schedules. The office is often full of the smell of whatever we are testing in the kitchen that day. We are not a giant chain with a polished corporate office; it is more like a family here where everyone chips in. The desks are covered in notebooks and takeout menus. We deal with the usual city problems like the power flickering or the internet going slow right when we need to send an order. It is a fast-paced environment and we are always on the move. Even though it is tiring and the hours are long, we like the energy of being in the middle of Goregaon.
