We are located over at Eden Residency, right on St Pauls Road in Bandra. It’s a pretty quiet spot off Turner Road, near the Eden Woods area. Most people know the building around here. We’ve been operating out of unit 502 for a while now. Our day usually starts with the sound of the neighborhood waking up. It isn’t a massive corporate setup, just a group of us working together in this apartment-style office. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones, looking through paperwork and trying to make sense of things for our consultancy projects. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, but we make do with the stairs if we have to. We handle various tasks that require a lot of talking and figuring out problems. It’s not always exciting, but it is the work we have chosen. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or anything like that, just a regular kettle and some tea bags in the corner of the small kitchen area. People drop by when they need something looked at. We just talk to people normally. If we know something, we say it. If we don’t, we spend time looking it up. It’s a small office with a lot of files and a few desks pushed together. We like being in this part of Mumbai because it feels like a real neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in.
