Taxes are just one of those things that nobody really enjoys dealing with. We have our small office here at the Hareram Harekrishn Building on Akurli Cross Road in Kandivali East. It’s nothing special to look at, just a few rooms where we keep our files and computers. Taxtree Consultants was started because we realized a lot of folks in the neighborhood were struggling with their paperwork. We spend most of our days looking at forms and trying to make sense of the latest rules. It’s quiet work, mostly just the sound of typing and the ceiling fan. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the documents people bring in, but we have our own way of keeping things organized. We aren't interested in being some big corporate firm. We like the fact that we can talk to people directly without any layers of management. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-way through a stack of folders. We take our time to get things right because we know how much it matters. Kandivali is a busy place, but once you step inside, it’s just us focusing on the numbers. It’s a steady routine, and we’ve grown fond of it over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs brings us snacks, and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon.
