Tackersons Foundation

You can find the Tackersons Foundation over in Goregaon West, specifically at the Oshiwara Industrial Center. We are up on the first floor in the C-Wing, unit 147. Being in an industrial center means it’s always a bit noisy and busy around here, which actually suits us just fine. There are always people moving stuff in the hallways and trucks coming and going. We chose this spot because it's central and easy for people to reach. Our space isn't much to look at, just a regular office unit where we get our work done. We spend most of our time organizing projects and making sure things are moving along. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we also get out into the streets quite a bit. It’s a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to hauling boxes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to get the work done. Some days the lift doesn't work right, or the hallway is blocked with someone else's delivery, but you just deal with it. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve been here for a while now and have gotten to know the other shop owners and workers in the building. It feels like a real community, even if it is just an old industrial block.
