Our workplace is Gala No. 5F/D in the Malad Industrial Units at Kachpada. It's tucked away on Ramchandra Lane Extension in Malad West. This isn't a place for suits and ties. Suumaya Protective Texcorp Limited is an industrial setup through and through. The area is full of small units making all sorts of things, so there's a constant hum of machinery and the smell of grease and dust in the air. We focus on protective textiles here. It’s practical stuff. Our gala is usually a bit of a mess with raw materials and finished goods waiting to be shipped. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to offer you coffee when you walk in. Most of the time, we’re too busy checking the specs or loading the trucks. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the industrial lift is slow, but it gets the job done. We work hard, often starting early and staying late to meet our numbers. It’s a tough environment, especially when the heat builds up under the tin roofs. But we’re used to it. We don't try to sound like a big international brand. We're just a local unit doing our part in the textile chain. We take pride in the fact that our fabrics actually do a job. It's not about fashion here; it's about function and making sure everything is up to the mark before it leaves the gate. That's how we operate every day.
