You can find our office, Suresh Surana & Associates, at C-8 in the Nutan Kalpana building on Sarojini Naidu Road. We are located in Mulund West, which is a fairly busy but nice part of Mumbai. The 400080 area has a lot of residential buildings, and being in Nutan Kalpana makes us feel like we are part of the neighborhood. Our office space is practical and used for one thing: getting through the mountain of accounting work we have every day. It’s not a very big office, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the box files and stationery. We have a few desks set up and everyone has their own corner. Sarojini Naidu Road is usually packed with cars and people, so there is always some noise coming in from outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local chai wallah and the folks at the stationery shop quite well. It’s a humble setup without any shiny furniture or high-tech gadgets. We spend our hours checking entries and filing returns for our clients. When it’s busy, the office stays open well into the evening, and we all just pitch in to finish the work. It’s an honest, local professional practice where the focus is on the numbers, not the appearance of the office. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
