We are up on the 10th floor, Office 1005, in the Sri Krishna Premises building on New Link Road. If you know Andheri West, you know how the traffic can be, so we usually get in early to avoid the worst of it. The office is one of those places that feels a bit like a hive because there are so many other businesses in the same building. We have a lot of cupboards filled with project files and legal papers. It’s not the most decorated place; we just have a few calendars on the walls and a lot of sticky notes everywhere. The view from the window is mostly just more buildings and the metro line going past. Sometimes the lift in the building is under repair, and then we have to wait a long time or take the stairs if we’re feeling brave. We drink a lot of water from the cooler in the corner. Our desks are usually covered in lunch boxes and notebooks. It’s a busy atmosphere, but we keep things simple. We don't really have a big meeting room, so we just sit around the main desk when we need to talk things through. It’s a bit noisy when the city is in full swing, but it helps us stay energized. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for some time and it feels right for the work we do here day after day. We have a small plant by the window that we remember to water every few days.
