Khar West has that specific Mumbai feel where everything is a bit cramped but full of life. Sixteenth Road is always busy with people going about their business, and we are right in the thick of it. Our office is basically a converted flat, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have a small kitchen where we make way too much tea, and the living room area is where we have our big tables for the site plans. It is a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We don't go for the big glass buildings in BKC. This location is more our speed. It is easy for people to drop by, and we are close to everything we need. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we don't really need formal rules. We just know who is doing what. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we are too loud, but mostly it is just the sound of the city coming through the windows. We deal with the usual infrastructure headaches every day, but we don't complain much. We just focus on getting the projects finished so we can move on to the next one without a fuss.
