We’re tucked away on the first floor of the BMC Office in the K/East Ward. If you’re looking for us, we are in Mtr Cabin A-1, right near Acme Plaza on M V Road in Andheri East. It’s a government building, so you know how it is—lots of people moving around and plenty of paperwork everywhere. Societyfor Mumbai Incubation Lab To Entrepreneurship Council is what we call ourselves. Basically, we provide a space for people starting new businesses. It’s not a flashy startup hub like you see on TV. It’s just a regular office with some desks and power outlets. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who have big ideas but don't know where to start. The room is a bit small and sometimes the fans make a lot of noise. We don't have fancy coffee machines or bean bags. It’s just a place to work. Being in a BMC office means things are pretty formal but we try to keep it relaxed inside our cabin. We see a lot of different people coming through, from young kids with tech ideas to older people wanting to sell handmade goods. We do our best to help them navigate the city’s rules and get things moving. It’s busy, and the traffic outside on M V Road is always a nightmare, but we’re here every day.
