Smiling Stars Foundation

You can find us up in flat B-1204 at the Eternia CHS. This is in Hiranandani Gardens, over in the Powai area of Mumbai. Being on the twelfth floor gives us a pretty good view of the neighborhood. Hiranandani is a bit different from the rest of the city, with those tall buildings and the specific style of architecture they have there. Our space in Eternia is where we handle everything for the foundation. It’s a residential building, so it’s mostly quiet during the day when everyone else is out at work. We use the living area of the flat as our main office. There are windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice. We have a couple of computers set up and a table for meetings. It feels more like a study than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. We have some plants on the balcony that we try to keep alive, though the wind up here can be a bit much sometimes. The security guards at the gate are used to seeing us by now. It’s a secure and calm place to get things done. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic because of the building's security, so we usually know exactly who is coming to see us. It’s a steady routine of answering emails and planning our next steps. We’ve been in Powai for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of life in this part of town.
