Slow Studio Llp

Our office is in Metro Avenue, right near the Western Express Highway Metro Station in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of energy around the building. Slow Studio Llp is in unit 307, and it’s a bit funny having a name like that in such a fast-paced neighborhood. We try to keep things a bit calmer inside our walls, though. The office has a simple layout with a few long tables and some shelves that are currently overflowing with material samples and old catalogs. Because the metro is so close, we hear the trains rumbling by every few minutes, which has become a background sound we barely notice anymore. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. We spend a lot of our time staring at different textures and colors, trying to see how they look in the shifting light that comes through the window. Lunch is usually a quick affair at our desks or a walk down to one of the nearby stalls if we have the time. We are just a small team of people who enjoy the process of making things and don't really care for the corporate polish you see in the bigger firms around here. It is just about the work and the people we do it with.
