Silaris Clothing Private Limited

Our workshop is located in the Hind Saurashtra Industrial Estate. It's Gala 105 in Building A. If you know Andheri Kurla Road, you know it's always packed with cars and people and noise. We are right in the middle of all that chaos every day. We make clothes here. It's an industrial space, so don't expect anything pretty or decorated. There are piles of cardboard boxes near the door and the sound of machines never really stops during the work hours. We have a small team of workers. Everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. Some of us have been working together for years now. We started small and stayed that way, even if the name sounds a bit more formal than we actually are. The estate can be a bit confusing with all the different galas and corridors, but we’ve been in 105 for quite a while now. We spend a lot of time checking the seams and making sure the fabric is what we wanted. Sometimes shipments get delayed because of the Mumbai rains or traffic, but we try to keep up as best as we can. It’s a lot of standing and moving around for us. Not much sitting down until it’s time for the lunch break. We get our hot tea from the guy downstairs. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to make decent clothes without too much fuss. We finish our tasks, clean up the thread from the floor, and head home.
