Our office is situated on the 1st floor of the Shenoy Building. If you're familiar with Khar West, you probably know that 5th Road is a pretty lively spot. We are right opposite the Khar Municipal Market, so there is always something going on outside our windows. You can hear the vendors and the trucks starting early in the morning, which gives the whole area a lot of energy. Shreeratna Foods (Opc) Private Limited has been based here for a bit now. Being on the first floor is quite convenient since we can just take the stairs and avoid the lift most days. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, even if it isn't the most modern place in the world. We spend our hours here coordinating with suppliers and managing the food trade side of things. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy being right in the middle of a busy market area. It reminds us every day of why the food business is so important. We don't have a fancy interior or any expensive decorations. It’s just a straightforward office with desks and computers where we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic on 5th Road makes it hard for people to park, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve become a regular part of the neighborhood, and we like the local feel of being near the market.
