Shree Saiarchana Foundation

We are over here in Bhandup West, specifically inside the ShriNiwas co-op housing society. It is just Jitendra’s place, really, unit 2/1 in Utkarsh Nagar. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some people from the neighborhood trying to handle things. Living in Mumbai, space is always tight, but we make do with what we have in this little corner of 400078. It gets pretty busy around here during the day. We started this because there seemed to be stuff that needed doing and nobody else was jumping in. Most days it is just us sitting around a desk or in the living room sorting through paperwork and talking to folks who stop by. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write professional sounding letters. If you come by, you might see laundry drying or hear the neighbors talking in the hallway. That is just how it is. It is a local thing, and we like keeping it that way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the rains make travel hard, but we stay put. We are just a small group of people in a housing society. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to help where it makes sense and keep our heads down. It is honest work, even if it’s a bit messy sometimes.
