Our place is at Room 102 in Shh Residency, which sits inside the Shiva Industrial Estate on Lake Road. Being in Bhandup-West is quite handy because there is always something going on and plenty of suppliers nearby. We are a small team at Shree S S Infra Developers and we mostly look after local construction and renovation projects. The industrial estate is always humming with noise from other shops and units nearby, so there is a lot of energy around the place. Our office is pretty modest. We have some desks, a table for blueprints, and a small corner for making tea. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. Most of the time, our boots are a bit muddy from being out at the sites anyway, so a fancy office wouldn't make much sense. We have been working from this Bhandup location for a while now and we know the area and the people pretty well. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes parking near Lake Road can be a real headache, but we make it work. We spend our mornings checking in on our workers and the afternoons doing the boring stuff like permits and bills. It is a small business where everyone does a bit of everything. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai, we just want to do decent work on the projects we take on. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We try to keep our clients updated, but we prefer talking in person rather than over long emails.
