Shivsai Krida Foundation

You can find our small office at Gala No/6A in the Kudyaram Chawl area. We are right there in Devla Pada, which is pretty close to the Tata Power House and the Sai Mandir in Borivali East. It is a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always some noise from the street, but we don't mind it much. Shivsai Krida Foundation started because we saw a lot of kids in the neighborhood who didn't have much to do after school hours. We just wanted to give them a place to focus on sports and staying active instead of just wandering around the chawl. It is not a fancy setup at all, just a simple gala where we keep our equipment and meet up to talk about the next matches or practice sessions. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because the ground gets muddy, but the local boys still show up. We have been here for a while now and most people around Borivali know where we are. We don't have any big corporate office or a lot of staff, it is just a few of us who grew up around here and want to keep the sports culture alive. On weekends, it gets really crowded around the temple, so getting to the office takes a bit longer than usual. We just take things day by day and try to help out the local youth whenever they need gear or a place to train.
