Our place is Shah Lifeline Multispeciality Hospital Llp and we are tucked into the Vishal Shopping Center on S V Road. It’s a commercial building in Malad West, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. Being on the fourth floor or thereabouts means we see a lot of the Mumbai hustle from the windows. We have different departments here because being a multispeciality hospital means we deal with a bit of everything. It’s not a quiet place, but hospitals rarely are in this part of town. The elevators can be slow during peak hours when everyone is trying to get to the shops and offices in the building. We just keep our area clean and ready for whoever walks in. It is a practical setup for a medical center. People come from all over Malad because S V Road is so central. We have been in this spot for some time. The staff is used to the fast pace of the city. We don't have a giant lobby with waterfalls or anything like that. It is just a regular hospital floor with rooms and equipment. We try to keep the paperwork moving so people aren't waiting forever.
