We are located over at the Kanara Business Centre Premises in Laxminagar. It is right in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. Our office numbers are B-308 and B-309. It is a busy spot but we like it here. Sewan Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited is basically just us helping out the local people with their money. We handle small savings and loans for the members who live around this part of Mumbai. It isn't a huge operation. We mostly just sit at our desks and talk to people when they walk in. The building is easy to find if you know the Ghatkopar area. We have been here for a while now. Some days it gets quite crowded in the hallways of the business centre but we manage. We aren't trying to be some big fancy bank. It’s more about the mutual benefit part where everyone knows each other. Usually, it is just neighbors coming by to sort out their accounts. We keep things simple. No complicated paperwork if we can help it. If you are near Laxminagar and need to check on your small savings or talk about a gold loan or something, you just come up to the third floor. We have the two units joined together so there is enough space for a few chairs for people to wait. It is just a regular office with some computers and files. We try to be helpful and honest about what we can do. That’s pretty much us.
