Serve To Empower People (Step) Foundation

Our office is in Silver Tower, specifically Unit E/301. We are right across from Gokul Tower in the Thakur Complex area of Kandivali East. It is a pretty well-known spot in the suburbs, and there is always plenty of foot traffic around the complex. Serve To Empower People (Step) Foundation has a modest setup here on the third floor. The building is a typical suburban commercial block, so you have all sorts of small businesses as neighbors. Our office is a bit tight on space, especially when we have all our volunteers in at once. We have a few computers and a lot of binders filled with notes. The windows look out onto the other towers in the complex, and you can hear the sound of kids playing or people shopping downstairs. We do not have a fancy interior designer. Most of the furniture was probably bought second-hand or donated by someone we know. The carpet is a little worn in the spots where we walk the most, but it doesn't bother us. We spend our time here coordinating things and making sure everything is moving along as it should. It is a busy little hub in Kandivali, and we have become part of the daily furniture of the building. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else in the Silver Tower.
