School For European Pastry Llp

Our school is located in the DD Compound on LBS Marg in Mumbai. It is a busy industrial-style area, and our unit is VH-1. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of flour and butter. We aren't a big, polished university. We are a practical place where people come to learn how to make pastry properly. School For European Pastry Llp started because we wanted to share what we know about baking without all the extra fluff. The kitchen is where we spend all our time. It is full of ovens, mixers, and big metal tables that get covered in dough by mid-morning. It is hot work, and it is messy, but that is how you learn the trade. We have students from all over the city coming in to try their hand at croissants or cakes. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk while we are working at the benches. The floors are always a bit dusty with flour, no matter how much we sweep throughout the day. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just show people how to handle the ingredients and hope they get it right. It is a lot of long hours and standing on your feet, but we enjoy it. It is just a group of people who are serious about baking, working out of a plain building in Mumbai. No frills, just lots of practice and plenty of mistakes along the way.
