Saraswatividya Gurukulam Foundation

Our small office is tucked away in the Shreyas Building on T-P-S Road. We are on the seventh floor, in unit B-702, so we get a decent view of Borivali West from the window. It's mostly quiet up here compared to the street level where all the traffic is. We've got shelves full of books and registers that we use for the gurukulam work. The air conditioner makes a weird rattling sound sometimes, so we usually just leave it off and open the windows. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the Mumbai traffic, but once we're in, the day goes by fast. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and students who drop by. There is a small desk near the door where we keep the sign-in sheet. Sometimes we forget to refill the water cooler and someone has to run out. It's a simple setup. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us trying to keep things running smoothly. The building is a bit old, but it’s sturdy. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. We usually eat lunch together at our desks while discussing the plans for the next week. It’s just how we operate. There are always some loose papers flying around when the breeze picks up. We don't have any fancy signs, just the address on the door. It suits us just fine for now.
