Our place is located in Andheri West, right on the New Link Road. We are in the Kotia Nirman Commercial Premises, specifically in unit A/303. It is across from the Laxmi Industrial Estate, which is a big local landmark around here. Andheri West is always moving fast, and our office is right in the middle of all that city energy. We do couture work, so the space is usually filled with different kinds of fabrics, threads, and half-finished pieces hanging up. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The building has a lot of other businesses inside, so there is a constant flow of people in the hallways and the elevators. We spend most of our time working on the small details of each piece. It is a lot of sitting at the tables and making sure everything looks exactly right. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It is more of a workshop where the actual creation happens. Sometimes the noise from the Link Road traffic can be a bit much, but you get used to it after working here for a while. We are a small team and we like it that way because it keeps the work personal. We don’t go for any corporate polish or fancy words. We just focus on the craft and the daily chores of running a small business in Mumbai.
