We’re located over at the National Silk Mill Compound on S.V. Road in Dahisar East. It’s a bit of a landmark area, being unit number 01. S.V. Road is always busy, but once you get inside the compound, it’s a bit more manageable. We’ve been working out of this spot in Dahisar for a while now. We deal with real estate, which in this part of Mumbai means a lot of checking on old buildings and new developments. Our office isn't anything fancy; it’s just a place where we sit and handle the daily grind of property management. We have a small crew of people who actually live nearby, so we don't have long commutes. That helps us stay focused on the local area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at site visits. Dahisar has its own rhythm, and we’ve adapted to it. There’s usually a lot of paperwork to go through, and the files tend to pile up on the desks. We aren't into the whole corporate polish thing. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. If someone has a question about a lease or a sale, we look into it and give them a straight answer. It’s a practical way to run a business. The fan in the corner hums all day, and we just keep at it until the sun goes down. It's nothing special, but it's our work and we take it seriously enough.
