You can find us at Shop Number 47-1/1 in Mukti Nagar. We are right on W T Patil Marg, which stays pretty busy most of the time. Being near the Neelam Hotel helps people find us because everyone in Chembur knows where that is. Sairaaj Welfare Association is run right out of this shop in the Ghatla area. It is a small space, but we make it work for everything we do. Mumbai is a crowded place, and this part of Mumbai City-400071 is no different. There is always noise from the street and people walking by. We keep the shop open so folks from the neighborhood can just stop in and talk to us. We don’t like to make things complicated. If there is a problem in the local area or someone needs help with paperwork, they know where we are. We sit here amongst the files and the chairs and just try to be a part of the community. The shop is tucked into the building, but the Mukti Nagar sign is easy to see. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we like being right on the main road where things are happening. It’s practical for us. We don’t have a big corporate board, just local people sitting in a shop in Chembur trying to do some good for the neighbors who live around us. Most days it's just about listening to people's stories and seeing if we can help.
