S2J Fresh Pick Llp

S2J Fresh Pick is run out of Shirish Bunglow on Mahant Road in Vile Parle East. It’s a residential area, so our office feels a bit different than the ones you see in the big business parks. We are on the ground floor and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the stuff we have to manage. Living and working in Vile Parle means we are close to everything but the space is always a bit limited. We focus on picking out the best fresh produce we can find. Most of our work happens early in the morning when the city is still waking up. That’s when the fresh stock arrives and we have to sort through it. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving crates and checking for any bruised fruit or wilted greens. We aren't a massive corporation, just a local LLP trying to do things right. The office is often full of the smell of fresh vegetables. We have a few desks and a lot of floor space dedicated to the produce. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello because everyone knows everyone on Mahant Road. We don't have a big marketing department. We just rely on the fact that we do our job and people talk. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when multiple deliveries arrive at once, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
