Relay Stones Private Limited

Relay Stones is based in the Mezzamrit Diamond building, right there on Tata Road No 1 by the Swadeshi Mill. It’s a part of Mumbai that feels very old school. We share the area with a lot of other businesses, so it’s never quiet. We work on the mezzanine level. Most days involve a lot of checking on stone shipments and talking to drivers. The air always feels a bit heavy with dust from the materials, but that's part of the job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. It’s just a place with some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of stone samples everywhere. Sometimes the tea arrives cold, and sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just sell stone and make sure it gets to where it’s going. It’s a small operation, really. A few of us handle everything from the phones to the loading. We know the regulars who come by, and they know we’re just regular people too. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us trying to make a living in a crowded city. If you come by, you'll see we're just focused on the work at hand. It's not complicated. We just try to get the orders right and keep the office running every day.
