Rahul Malkan Support Foundation

Our foundation is located in Kandivali West, specifically at C-802 in the Vasant Aishwarya building. It’s right on the Mathuradas Road extension. If you live around Mumbai, you know how packed this area can get. We aren't some massive organization with a hundred employees. It’s mostly just a few of us running things out of this flat. The Rahul Malkan Support Foundation started because we saw stuff that needed doing in our own backyard. We don’t have a big reception area or shiny signs. It’s a regular housing society, so it feels more like a home than a business office. We spend most of our time answering calls and trying to organize support for people who reach out. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the kitchen table, but we get through it. We aren't here to make a profit or get famous. We just want to use this space to be useful. Maharashtra is a big place, but we focus on what we can reach from here. The traffic on Mathuradas Road can be a real pain, but being centrally located helps people find us. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about being there for others when things get tough. We've been in this building for a while now, and the neighbors are used to us having visitors. It’s a quiet, honest way to work.
