Pree Charitable Foundation

Pree Charitable Foundation operates out of Flat No. 1 in the Adinarayan CHS. We are located in Naik Wadi, which is a part of Goregaon East. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by without having to climb too many stairs. We are just a small team of people who live around here and wanted to start something meaningful. It’s not a big shiny office; it’s just a room with some desks and a lot of passion for what we do. We mostly deal with local issues and try to help the families in the Goregaon area. Life in Mumbai is always fast, so we try to provide a place where things can slow down a bit so we can solve problems. We don't have a PR team or anyone to make us look fancy. If you see us, we are probably just wearing regular clothes and working on a project. Sometimes we have tea and discuss how to handle the next big task. It’s very informal but we take the work seriously. We often run out of stationery or forget to turn the fan off, but the important things get done. We just want to help out where there is a gap. It feels good to be part of the Naik Wadi community and give back to our neighborhood in a way that actually matters.
