Pradip Charitable Foundation

Pradip Charitable Foundation is located in Ghatkopar East at Mahavir Mansion. Our office is B-28. If you know Mumbai, you know how tight things can be. This building has been around for a while and it shows its age in some spots, but it is home for us. We are right in the middle of Garodia Nagar, so the sound of the city is always there in the background. It’s a noisy place with people always rushing to the station or the market. Our room is quite small, honestly. We have filled it with cupboards and a couple of desks that we found second-hand. It isn't a place where we hold big meetings. It is more of a spot to keep the records and handle the mail. We spend a lot of time just sitting here and going through folders. The walls are a bit yellowed and the ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on the high setting. We don't mind it much. It’s a practical space in a part of town that we know well. We don't have any signs out front, just the number on the door. People who need us usually find their way here through word of mouth. It’s just a simple, no-nonsense office where we do the basic work of the foundation every day without any big show. It can get pretty humid in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows open to catch a bit of a breeze from the alley.
