Poonam Taraprasad Shukla Foundation

The Poonam Taraprasad Shukla Foundation is based out of Flat No 703 in Building No 64. We are part of the Evershine Millenium Paradise complex in Kandivali East, Mumbai. Our office is essentially a converted flat, which makes the whole place feel very informal and homey. We’re up on the 7th floor, so we get a bit of a breeze sometimes. Kandivali East is a crowded area, but our complex is relatively quiet. We don’t have any corporate branding or sleek office furniture. It’s just some desks, chairs, and a few cupboards where we store all our paperwork. We do everything from this flat—answering calls, managing files, and planning our next steps. We aren't a big organization with a lot of staff. It’s just a small group of us who are dedicated to the foundation’s work. Being in a residential building like Building 64 means we see our neighbors every day, which keeps us grounded. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re a major corporation. We just sit around the table, have some tea, and get to work on whatever needs doing. It’s a very real, human way to operate.
