Parth Parisparth Paris (India) Llp is based at the Hiranandani Industrial Estate, right across from the Kanjur Marg railway station. Being at unit 139 means we get to hear the trains all day, which is just part of the background noise for us now. Kanjur Marg West is a busy spot, and being in an industrial area means things are very practical here. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and maybe a few notes taped up. We focus on the work itself. We’re an LLP, and we’ve been at this for a while now, dealing with the ups and downs of the fashion industry in India. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and equipment. We spend our mornings going through what needs to be shipped and our afternoons checking on the production side of things. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, and sometimes it gets a bit stressful when things don’t arrive on time, but we manage. We aren’t into big corporate presentations. If you came by, you’d just see us in our everyday clothes, probably arguing over a shipping label or checking a sample. It’s honest work, and we like the location because it’s easy for everyone to get to. We just keep our heads down and try to get through the daily list of things that need doing. It’s not glamorous, but it is real.
