Parekh Rasoi Private Limited

Parekh Rasoi is on the ground floor of Mangesh Prasad CHS. We are right on Dixit Road in Mumbai, very close to Ashish Nursing Home. If you know that part of the city, it’s a fairly busy street with people always coming and going. We’ve been here for a bit, running our food business from this ground floor space. It’s convenient being on the level floor because we have stuff coming in and out all day. We don't do all the fancy talk about visions or excellence. We just make sure the food is handled right. Being near a landmark like the nursing home helps people find us, though we aren't really a walk-in kind of place. It’s more about the backend work of the rasoi. The building is an older one, typical for this part of Mumbai, which gives it a bit of character. We have our regulars and our usual suppliers who stop by. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen area or doing the accounts. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the place clean and the work steady. Every morning starts early, getting things prepped. By the time the sun goes down, we’re usually just wrapping up the last of the paperwork. That’s pretty much us.
