Our office is located in the Balarama Premises, specifically units 706 through 710. We are right in the middle of Bandra Kurla Complex, or BKC as everyone calls it. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, filled with glass buildings and lots of people in a hurry. Even though BKC can feel a bit intense with all the traffic and noise, inside our office, we try to keep things a bit more down-to-earth. We manage funds, which means we have a lot of work to do every single day. Our hours are filled with meetings, phone calls, and a lot of reading through reports. We have several rooms to accommodate our team, but it’s all very functional. There aren't any designer sofas or modern art on the walls here. We have standard desks and plenty of computer monitors. Working in Bandra East is convenient because of the transport links, though the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings when everyone is leaving. We usually stay late anyway to finish up the day’s work and plan for tomorrow. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations; we'd rather just look at the data and see what makes sense for the funds. It’s a professional environment but without the stuffy attitude you might find in some other financial districts. We are just a team of people who work together in these rooms.
