We are located right in the thick of things at the Bharat Diamond Bourse in BKC. Our office is Ge-1050 in the G-Block, which is usually a pretty busy spot during the day. If you’ve ever been to the bourse, you know how much walking is involved just to get through the gates and find the right building. We have been working out of this space for a while now, handling all the daily paperwork and shipments that come through a place like this. The security checks are a bit of a routine for us every morning. It gets quite loud in the hallways when everyone is moving around between offices. Sometimes the elevators take forever, so we just end up taking the stairs if we aren't carrying anything too heavy. The Mumbai humidity hits you the moment you step outside the air-conditioned blocks, but that is just part of working here in Bandra East. We mostly spend our time staring at invoices or coordinating with people on the phone. It isn't a fancy setup inside, just desks, computers, and a lot of tea to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of the people around here know us by now. We focus on getting the boxes packed and the entries done correctly. There isn't much more to it than that. We just show up, do the work, and try to beat the traffic on the way home before it gets too dark.
