Over at C/205 in Abhar CHS, you’ll find the office for Odiyoor Hotels Private Limited. We are located right in the 7 Bunglows area of Mumbai, just off JP Road and down Sanjeeva Enclave Lane. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot, which we actually quite like. It’s tucked away from the main road noise just enough to be manageable, though JP Road itself is always a bit of a nightmare during rush hour. Being in 7 Bunglows means we are close to the beach and the local markets, which gives the whole area a very specific Mumbai charm. Our office is basically an apartment that we turned into a workspace, so it feels very lived-in and comfortable. We spend our days managing the hotel side of things, dealing with bookings, and talking to the people on-site at our different locations. There are a few of us who have been here since the beginning, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The 400061 area is a good place to be based because everything we need is within walking distance. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a small team making sure everything stays on track. We drink a lot of coffee, talk through our plans at the kitchen table, and just keep the business moving one day at a time. It is a quiet way to run a company.
